Inspire Vancouver
Investing in Arts, Culture, Heritage, and Science for All.
Vancouver’s Cultural Access Program is called Inspire Vancouver and is rooted in the community goals outlined in the Culture, Arts & Heritage Plan, adopted in 2018. It was created in response to strong community support for stable, public investment in local non-profit cultural organizations. A 0.1% sales tax will fund a dedicated revenue stream and is expected to generate up to $7 million annually for seven years, with the possibility for renewal in 2031.
The four parts of the brand mark reflect the four pillars of the program: Arts, Culture, Heritage, and Science. The logo relates to the main City of Vancouver logo by sharing a color palette and typography styles, while bringing it’s own inspiring, colorful flare to the visual space.
